I Heart Kimchi Farewell

Ahh…yes, it is with a heavy heart that I announce my permanent farewell on Iheartkimchi.

This will be my last post on Iheartkimchi. I hinted at this in an earlier post, but kpop’s consumed my life entirely, and I need to move away from that because I don’t think it’s very healthy. I have to get my life outside of kpop together.

This doesn’t mean that I will discontinue watching all of my favorite shows like “X-Man” (which I still religiously watch the same clips over and over again on youtube because they’re sooooo freaking hilarious), “1N2D“, “Family Outing“, “Infinity Challenge“, etc etc. And this doesn’t mean that I will discontinue youtube stalking my favorite kpop celebs like Super Junior, FT Island, Shinhwa, etc etc.

The reason why I started this blog was because I had an overwhelming desire to share all these funny clips/pictures that I wasn’t able to share with my friends because they have absolutely no interest in kpop.

I felt frustrated, like I had all this kpop bottled up inside of me but nowhere to release it. Finally, I exploded. I thought to myself, “There MUST be people out there who find this stuff as funny as I do!!!” So in the end, I guess it was a matter of finding people to relate to who have the same common interests as me.

Through Iheartkimchi, I was able to achieve these goals. Consequently, I no longer have the desire to share things anymore. This isn’t a bad thing. It’s made me secure in my love for kpop, and now I can wholeheartedly enjoy what I find instead of always thinking, “I need someone else to see this to validate its hilarity/awesomeness.”

To everyone out there who followed this blog, thanks for laughing along, and thanks for all the laughs. I came out of this self-project with new BFFs (you know who you are) and people who share my love for all the cracktastic things kpop has to offer. I hope this was as enjoyable for you as it was for me. 🙂

JYP Dances To Tell Me

Oh my god! O_O

JYP DOES look like a dancing gorilla. I think it’s because his arms are too long for his torso.

BoA and Britney Spears In Korea

This footage is when Britney Spears visited Korea to promote her “Me Against the Music” album. The look on her face throughout the whole thing is so priceless. She has absolutely no idea what’s going on. Awwwwkward!!!

Sung Si Kyung shows off his awesome English,  sings a snippet of “Silent Night”, and then goes onto exclaim, “I’m a singer too!!!” LOL!!!

BoA‘s acting like such a fangirl. She’s practically shaking standing next to Britney.
